I've had Jasper for 16mths now (Pah ham) He was only a baby when I got him so his age isn't far out, perhaps 17 - 18mths old at the most.
The last 2mths or so hes been looking a bit thinner and has been less active. He still runs on his wheel and potters around but definately seems to spend more time sleeping. I have noticed him at the water bottle a bit more than often than usual but not sure if thats just because i'm home more now.
He also has a strange ritual/habit of chewing the same place on his bendy wood logs several times a day. I've checked his teeth and they seem ok
Is it just him beginning to show his age? Or that and possible diabetes?
At the minute he is fed on Burgess dwarf hamster mixed with the Burgess syrian. Wondering if changing his food to another mix will help any?
