Re: Milo & Murphy
Oh, I wish I could take them in! They just pull at my heartstrings ^^ Poor Murphy, I can't believe his previous owner let him get so sick without trying to treat him. Hugs to you, little one.

Re: Milo & Murphy
Thank you Eriklover ^
It does make me wonder whether she noticed he was sick and therefore wanted to get rid of them. I mean, its clear to see he isn't very well, so I would be surprised if she hadn't noticed!
BUT - on a positive note, they are with me now and I am doing my best for them
They both saw the vet this morning who cleaned Murphy's scent gland and confimed he has diabetes. Advised me to manage his diet etc and monitor him.
Milo was a little over friendly and sat in the vets shirt pocket The vet checked him over and said he looks very healthy and has a lovely shine to his coat. I did mention to the vet that I was not keeping the boys and my plan is to rehome and his comments were " You must be mad letting these two friendly cuddly boys go!!"

Re: Milo & Murphy
Aww they are so beautiful! Well done for taking them in. Poor little guys! Fancy just wanting "rid". I really don't understand these people that get pets for the sake of it and then decide that they don't want them anymore
But well done, and they are lovely! Look forward to updates and I hope little Murphy gets better! xx

Re: Milo & Murphy
They are gorgeous, love reading rescue stories. Not the before part but the lovely new homes they find on HC! Can't believe someone would just 'want rid' Its so sad some of the people who think animals are like old socks!

Re: Milo & Murphy
Oooh, that fluffy bum! I think these two need a cuteness overload warning I miss my little diabetic hybrid and am looking forward to this pair arriving. I'm tidying the hamster room this afternoon to prepare their space though they'll be spending a couple of weeks in my living room where I can keep a closer eye on them while they settle in.
