Hi jesselle! I wasn't sure about giving her the Oats & Honey. Darwin really enjoyed that one and it doesn't seem as hard as the other, but I know as a hybrid she's not supposed to have sugar.

She could have a little taste I guess just not regularly.

I allow emi to have the odd sugary treat as he's almost 17 months with no elevated glucose. He went mental last night, a bit like a dog! I had a yoghurt whilst he was free roaming and let him have a little lick of it off of my finger. He was jumping up at my legs and feet for more!! Bit off topic lol...

Does chicken and bacon smell like bacon? Is it made for rodents? Bet smudge loved it! How's her weight?

Glad to know that a small sugary treat every once in a while is ok. I'll bet she will really like that...just like Emi does!! The chicken and bacon doesn't really smell like chicken or bacon. It says it is a treat for hamsters, gerbils, mice, and ferrets.

Smudge's weight seems to be holding steady! I'm more worried about the bleeding as it has increased in frequency. . But neither her demeanor nor her behavior has changed. If anything, she does sleep a bit more.

Just caught up on this. I hope she's doing okay, the washing photos are adorable and you know how much I love her
I'm the same with giving Bert sugary treats, he's nearly 1 year old now and never had any high readings of glucose so I am slightly more relaxed on what he can eat. He will actually be spending his first birthday at Poms so I'm sure he will get a small amount of blueberry cake to celebrate as all the pompoms do on birthdays
