Default Smudge's Hammy Happenings Thread (pic heavy)

This is Smudge! She is a dwarf, but I don't know exactly what kind. There's a lot I don't know about her, but that doesn't change how much I love her!!!

She was rescued by the SPCA, from a home that was completely unfit for her. Her story with our family started last Tuesday, 1/29/13. I found her picture on the SPCA website a few days before I brought her home to live with me. The minute I saw her, I just knew she couldn't stay there any longer!

This is the picture I saw online. She looked so sad this day.

Then I went to visit her on the 29th. She was quite interested and couldn't sit still! I loved her coloring!!

I gave her a bigger house than what she had at the SPCA and lots of nice new toys to play with

She LOVES her wheel...she's never had one!!

She's still quite a bit shy!! I am slowly working on taming.

I felt like she deserved a better home, so I made her a bin (like the one her new brother, Darwin, has)...pink, for a pretty girl!! I know it is small, but it is bigger than anything she's had before and I have plans to try to upgrade her to a FOP Tamburino eventually.

Geez Kiki, she is really beautiful. The silver and black is gorgeous. You've given her a whole new life. The photos are just wonderful.

wow, she has reverse colouring, dark underneath and light on top! she's absolutely gorgeous.

is she friendly?

the fop tamburino will be a great home once you've got it.

Well...she's certainly not shy! She is very interested in what is going on and will come out when I talk to her, but she bats like at boxer, using her hands, when my fingers go near her. Baby steps....

Thank you everyone! Even if she isn't tame yet, she is such a joy to talk to and watch! She has a very busy personality & is all over the place when she is awake. I hope that she is settling in well and is happy.

One would think she'd gotten out of her cage and run around in my fireplace, but I assure you that is not the case .

Smudge was the first name that came to mind (like an ink smudge). My husband likes to joke around and call her Sludge, but I know he enjoys watching her as much as I do!!
