Re: Aisling, The Rescue That Wasn't Supposed to Happen
Aww thanks Erin!
So she is settling rather well, although she does a few things that I'm going to post a thread about because I'm not sure if they are something to be concerned about or not. Regardless, she appears to be a happy hammie. While her original home was far from ideal, the little girl who owned her clearly invested the time in handling her, because she is very content to be out of her tank and just sit, which I am still baffled by lol.
Anywho, MORE PICTURES!
I needed proof that she was so chill lmao

haha yeah I love her markings! I'm really glad that we had the extra tank for her, because even with her issues, she's a total doll

Re: Aisling, The Rescue That Wasn't Supposed to Happen
She's excessively overweight, and she's not even three months old yet. I'm dealing with that with a nice big wheel, lots of activities and better food (thanks to Silver's advice lol). She also appears to struggle with getting food out of her pouches, as I put into a post yesterday. She eats (clearly) but she seems to never be able to get the food from her pouch, which makes no sense. I am also concerned about mites, but I don't know how much scratching is normal for her as I just brought her home, as I know some hamsters just scratch and groom more than others, and she has no other signs, but I'm being paranoid. Hoping time tells.
And thank you! She has been so patient with me checking her over thoroughly, and she just has the sweetest disposition, as that picture kinda depicts
