Emi is such a gorgeous little man, I have often had to make the same choices as you re treatment, and will second guess myself over and over. I just conclude that any choice made out nothing but love for them is never the wrong choice. I hope your little guy is about for a long time yet, I do love a little old man ham

Thank you poms it's really nice to hear that. I'm coming to terms with it now and just enjoying him. I hope he has plenty of time left being comfortable - he always seems as though he has so much to do! His 2nd bday is in January
He's def one of a kind - the most fearless hamster I've ever known, he has the confidence of a cat!

Just about two years and 5 months old
Emi is very wobbly on his feet now and has lost more weight. He's also lost fur on his tail?! I'm assuming that's old age.
He's a real old man now, but still has his bursts of energy! He's great
