"Flame Djungarian"
I saw this little guy at my local shop yesterday, and since it was my birthday, I had to get him. He's the sweetest, nicest thing ever. He's so ridiculously big and fat. The other one in there with him was twice his size! I'm certain these are hybrids. They had him labeled as "flame djungarian," but I told them they were hybrids. He has ears like a winter white, but there are no winter whites with red eyes. His name is Kvothe.
Does anyone know much about this mutation? Is it just like the mandarin, but with red eyes?

Re: "Flame Djungarian"
He's a beautiful colour! I don't think I've ever seen a dwarf with just an orange stripe. I'm assuming he'll be a hybrid...?

Re: "Flame Djungarian"
Yes he is a hybrid. The colour Manderin is a hybrid colour.
I have a pet shop dwarf girl called Mandy, she is a Manderin/argente colour. She also has red eye's. I was told it is more rare to see a manderin with red eyes.
I have seen a couple of others that just have the Manderin strip down there back's. Mandy has Manderin patches now, when she was young she was orange!, now she looks like a Argente with Manderin patches.
Mandy will be 27 months old on the 19th of this month. You can only see her head here as she tucks into some veg

This is what she looked like when I got her

Re: "Flame Djungarian"
Some of the hybrid colours are gorgeous, like this one It's a shame they potentially have so many other issues, though.

Re: "Flame Djungarian"
...So...cute. He is absolutely gorgeous! I adore his colouring!
I don't think I would've been able to restrain myself, either. If I had seen this baby in a pet shop (or anywhere else, for that matter), I would've did my best to take him home, xD.
