Re: Can they have pumpkin seeds?
Yup, they're an ingredient in some hamster foods.

Re: Can they have pumpkin seeds?
Also fine, ours have walnuts in the cage on a regular basis. Except we're usually mean and leave them mostly in the shell

Re: Can they have pumpkin seeds?
Hehe its good for their teeth. Walnuts are sposed to be good for keeping "c" away. Same as broccoli. But saying that one of my mice still got the big "C" but it wasn't what killed her. Still give them tho. I think if anyone sposed to get "C" they will get it no matter what happens

Re: Can they have pumpkin seeds?
I've been told they shouldn't. They can easily get stuck in their cheek pouches if they store them there.
Or something very similar to that anyway.

Re: Can they have pumpkin seeds?
SQ hasn't pouched hers she just sits on her haunches and nibbles but this could be because the pumpkin seeds I have are huge and she can't get them in her mouth without nibbling and she doesn't just nibble til they are the right size she continues nibbling til they are all gone. I've watched her!
