Hrm, just a thought--would it help to apply a tiny dot of plain antibacterial ointment after the extraction? Consistently pushing gunk out of glands can irritate the openings and make them vulnerable to infection. Poor little guy <3

You could be right that it could cause more of a problem, so far its only getting blocked occasionally. But if it gets any worse or more regular I'll speak to the vet about it.
I have a feeling its to do with the fact he can't clean it properly, as he started cleaning it when I held him like that, as if I was propping him up so he could do it.
Yet another problem for poor Treo xx
