Thanks guys. He's the first hamster I've ever had who rather than pouching food, degorging it, and then burying it as a food store - he just buries his entire food bowl.

Haha, clever boy! Most efficient food hiding technique... until he figures out that the bowl gets removed often

He looks and sounds like an awesome hamster lol
Only our syrian tries storing food - The rest seem to think the food bowl is hidden enough (despite the russians having their bowl in the middle of the cage lol)
Our robos food bowls are quite close to their beds anyway and the only food the russians like storing is millet and they've even allocated a chief-millet-storer in the group lol
Maybe with burying the food bowl hes taking his name to heart - Thinks his bowl is the pastry, food is the filling, and cage litter is the top of the pastry lol
