It was so funny, once he got in, he laid out on his tummy to cool off. While still laying down, he was moving his cheek pouches and pushing stuff out of them and into his mouth, and then chewing and eating it. No paws involved. Just laying and chewing in his frozen mug. He's so lazy.

Haha! Welcome to ruddy Britain. It's like that every year, we are always surprised by it (2 summers ago was almost 100 degrees again, and last year it just rained, I think this one will be berserk hot - going to Marks & Spencers when I get my student loan for a fan!!). This winter it was also err work out the farenheit.. almost -30, which again, we really aren't built for. It's just stupid. It feels like Death Valley here to me sometimes, but that's because I'm a typical english rose (ie. Pasty and cant cope with anything apart from room temperature!).

Anyway, back on topic, I will certainly try this with Chewy, it's genius, and set up the fan next to him, ready for summer . Going to be prepared this year!

I guess I'm a typical english rose then too. An American English rose

Be careful because the mug will make condensation as it warms up, which can get them wet and cold if they catch a draft. Apples licked off all the condensation, but just something to look out for. Poor Chewy is so fluffy, I can't imagine how he must feel when it gets hot!
