our bag of megazorb arrived today (how big a bag!? lol) and so far dora doesnt mind it! it looks kinda weird tbh so be intresting to see how we get on with it...

It is a bit weird when u first get it but u get used to it

yeah feels and looks weird. how often do you clean cage with the megazora Amethsyt? atm i clean twice weekly (not cos it needs it but more i like re-arranging lol)

its amazing how much they can pouch! lol

Well you can still have a tidy up- ull bankrupt yourself if u clean out that often! I only used megazorb as gizmo (R.I.P) toilet and it soaked up really well.

I clean my rats out every one and a half weeks/2 weeks and they only start smelling around the end of that- and ratties wee more than hammies!

I think fortnightly would be suitable with hams. im swapping mine over soon.

order another ww...u can treat me to one if u want

now dora has potty trained herself for the sand box unless she changes her mind she wont be weeing on it. be intresting to see if she does!

haha @ bankrupt myself your not wrong spent a fortune on dora since getting her lol. my boys a bad influence in a petshop

I wouldn't clean out that often as if she uses a potty it only needs done about once ever 2 weeks. They don't like you to take away their scent too much and mess it up when they have just arranged it to their liking LOL Fickle critters. We have a pink wondent wheel like that

Maisie used to walk on her megazorb like she had big shoes on, if you can imagine that lol.Now she wizzes round and digs everywhere so guessing she loves it now.
Doras cage looks fab, hope she loves her megazorb, and clever hammie potty training herself xx

The megazorb will grow on you I promise!! It really is very good at keeping smells down. I clean out every 2 weeks (but to be honest Boris could go for longer he is a very clean hammy - but Phoebe is a bit of a stinker!) I change the sand every 5 days or so as they both use the sandbath as a toilet, so everywhere else is pretty clean.

Rhi - I have this amazing image of Maisie in big clown shoes a frilly collar and a red nose now!! hehe!
