I think that would be a really cute title, go for it!

They're such individuals aren't they? I can't believe I missed out on Hamsters when I was a kid. I remember getting one when I was very young and so did my brother. They both died within a day of coming home with us. They were very sick and we never bought from that pet store again. It closed shortly afterward, thank goodness, but the fun I've missed out on because of that experience! Oh well, maybe I can appreciate them more now that I'm an adult

My mum had one when she was in her 20's and he lived so long he had to take him with her when she got married! She got another one when I was little - we kinda shared him, but I dont remember being that interested. Its only in the past couple of years that I have been getting in them! And I am nearly 24!

No, it was listed on UsedVictoria.com and it was light blue. It's funny how deceiving pictures can be; even though the seller listed the length and height it still looked small until I actually went to get it. My jaw hit the floor! It's massive!

Are you going to call about the one on Craigslist? All the other cages I've seen for sale have been too small and they're entirely wire. It's rare to see something like what I got and tbh I've never seen one like the Duna for sale anywhere before, used or in store. I'd like to know where they got it!

Oh and I seldom find anything on Craigslist here. It doesn't seem to be as popular as UsedCanada.com out here. I've listed things on Craigslist a couple of times and both times I've been hit with massive amounts of spam. Same thing with answering Craigslist ads. Half the time they're just fishing for email addresses to send advertisements to. It's really discouraging.

Does it look like this? How big is it? (inches)

There's one in my area, selling it^ for $40. I'm still waiting for a reply.

It is rare to see cages like that here in North America. Can you ask the seller where he got his cage from?

That's exactly it chubchub! Mine is 28" X 18" X 12" tall. In your picture there appears to be something molded in to the floor on the far side as well as a section of wire hanging down. Mine doesn't have anything like that but everything else looks the same. And yeah, I think it's worth $40. If it's in good shape I'd get it

I'll try asking the seller where he got it but like I was saying earlier he seemed reticent for some reason and I was really uncomfortable when I was there. But it's worth a shot. The worst he can do is ignore me right?

The wire thing hanging down is a hayrack and the moulded thing is a dish for food/water -they are removeable so that have probably been mispalced over time. They are not needed for a ham anyway.

Thats a zoo zone 1 - explain why the bars are wider. They're made by hagen, so should't be as hard to find in North America as they seem to be! They are good cages, and definitely worth getting if you see one going cheap.

I've tried searching online but it appears that the Zoo Zone is only available in the US, not Canada. And Hagen appears to have followed the lead of Ferplast and made their newer models like the Multy with narrower bar spacing. I still got a good deal on it

I'm going to set it up today, can't wait to see Brownie's reaction!

Oh and if you want a good way to visualise the size of this cage, I put it in the tub last night to wash it and it takes up 2/3 of the space! Huge!
