UK Hamster Bedding? And Used Fish Tank Advice?

Hey! I spent ages trying to find HH but realised it's been deleted and I'm gutted so I'm new here hello! Any way haha, I haven't cared for a hamster in 10 years now and I feel very out the loop of up to date hamster care.

I'm currently looking into getting a hamster with my partner. We're planning on getting a used fish tank so tips on cleaning would be so helpful! I'm also wondering if it's best to completely reseal it too if fish have been kept in it before.

Also I'm looking into bedding and I'm struggling to know what to get and what's the best price as we can't really afford to go all out. I'm considering getting a mix of soft bedding and wood shavings. I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations! And if there are cheaper alternatives to the Kaytee bedding in PAH?

I'm not sure if the PAH wood shavings are good either since it doesn't state the wood used?
