Here’s what I used, extremely soft and good value for money (if you buy in bulk.) It holds burrows quite well. You could always also manufacture some burrows for him out of long lines of cardboard tubing if you are worried about him scratching himself? This way he doesn’t have to dig but still gets to feel like he has burrows to play around in. And of course he also has the option too in the other bedding if that’s what he prefers. Just a suggestion!
