Current cages vs bigger cages
I spent 300+ on my cage set ups for my hammies. However i have been told it is not appropriate. I would like to make sure. Current square inches 600+, 32.5 inches x 19.5 inches with a 6.5 inch base. I trust the forum more because facebook is aggressive and very opinionated. Plus people seem to be more positive that their regional rules are absolute. I have no issue upgrading the cages it will just take time. So can anyone tell me?
I currently have an unused (needs to be cleaned) 110 gallon terrarium. Which i could transfer one if my hamsters into im just not sure if its too big

Re: Current cages vs bigger cages
There is no rule as such. I wouldn't advise you to post set ups etc online on social media as it does open you to abuse. You need to decide for yourself if your hamster seems content and has space to do all natural activities including things like digging, foraging, exercising, nesting. space for a toileting area, etc and has sufficient enrichment to keep it content as well as human interaction.

Re: Current cages vs bigger cages
They definitely have enough room for that, in fact i need to get more things for them to do its just been a slow process building up everything. (Slower than i would like at least)
