Cage recommendations?

That's a ridiculous price for a barred cage and the interior is only plastic.
The Savic Plaza is quite good value in comparison.

Ah. Yes I misunderstood. I just googled the Criceti 100 and it showed up on the search results so I assumed it was the same thing! Probably should actually read things ....

The Grosvenor is a good cage but it is on the low side for a Syrian. Perfect for a dwarf though.

I think it also depends on your own preferences. Do you prefer a top opening or front opening cage?
What i would avoid is a cage with small doors. I saw a £20 Barney on Gumtree a while ago and was considering it but know that the small doors would frustrate me on a daily base and opted for the Plaza.

Actually the Grosvenor 100 is quite new - I forgot about that. It’s a good buy if you’re ok with top access only. But it is the whole top that raises and with it being a fairly low cage, your arm could go in at an angle. It could be a good buy if you like it. The advantage of it being lower is less risk of injury from falls and easier to set up. It already comes with a shelf too. You might be limited on which wheels would fit but am fairly sure the 28cm trixie wheel would fit. You’d just need the substrate lower at the wheel end.

Again it’s sold by little pet warehouse and it might be cheaper on there. It’s a cage that would also do for either a Syrian or dwarf hamster.

It also has more floorspace than the plaza as it’s 54cm deep. I do prefer a front opening for personally but I would use the grosvenor 100.

Actually no it’s slightly cheaper on eBay but check if either includes delivery costs - it might be cheaper overall from little pet warehouse of it includes delivery.

With that cage all you’d need to buy is a wheel and some kind of house and floor toys (which you could use cardboard items for possibly).
