Same in neighbouring Wiltshire. I end up donating good cages after unsuccessfully advertising them.

Currently got a Hamster Heaven and an Alaska plus various Trixie wheels i want to move on.

I managed to sell a few of my cages a couple of months ago but most of them were 60x40(ish!) in size but some of the more worn out ones have actually had the top re-purposed in my garden to keep the birds off of some of my plants!

I've currently got one of my Chinese in a Hamster Heaven and it is by far, my favourite commercially available cages. I bought mine second hand several years ago and because of that, it didn't have all the plastic stuff with it. On the plus side, that has meant that I've had the best opportunity to furnish it for what will suit Lily best. One of my other Chinese might benefit from a Hamster Heaven too when she's a little older so I'll be keeping my eyes out for second hand ones just in case.

Agree it's one of the best commercial cages - and I haven't even owned one But I know what it's like because I have the Mickey 2XL which is the same cage but with 7mm bar spacing and I wouldn't part with that for anything! I like the narrow bar spacing and it doesn't have the tube holes on top to block off. But the Hamster Heaven is definitely much better value and not as expensive. I originally got the Mickey 2XL for the narrow bar spacing, not to keep a hamster in as such but to have a mouseproof cage as we occasionally got mice in our old house. Thankfully it was never an issue.
