Not had one of my hamsters try to climb their water bottles, not even crazy Moonbeam and she will try and climb anything, shes very good at climbing smooth hides and jars and wheels, but not bottles it seems.

Ohh forgot to say if you are using the strong velcro noway is that coming off even if your robo does somehow manage to climb on it.

My robo never tried climbing water bottles but one of my syrians did and yes it fell but not on him thankfully. Have you tried something like this?

I thought you had the rodipet water bottle stand? That looks quite a good one. If it's a bit high you can just put something under it for him to walk on to raise his height a bit. I gave up on stands and prefer them attached to the cage now As yours is tank style velcro is a good option.

I do have the rodipet water bottle stand but Orko has to stand to drink. When I put something for him to step on he did not like that and drank less water.

Oh that’s a shame. Maybe he liked standing to drink! They are funny little things. The height would only really be an issue if he was getting older.

That is good to know. I bought a new bottle and have velcroed it so I will check if he uses it tonight.
