Well originally I just didn't want to spend such a huge amount of money on a wheel! Plus it's plastic and could break (I have trodden on many plastic and ceramic things in the playpen too!). But ended up spending the same amount.
Actually I'm not even sure it'll fit in the cage without rearranging something! Widthwise - just looked tonight.
I've had a rodipet one before - they're well made and don't break or fall apart. Plus I do like the cork for their feet
Although it's not essential. It's a good long term wheel. It'll probably be easier to attach to the bars because it will need a piece of wood between the wheel and bars (so it spins as if on the stand). I can chop the old stand from Pip's wheel to be the right depth piece of wood. With the Niteangel being plastic, can't really chop a plastic stand (that one needs something between wheel and fastenings to attach to bars too).
But perhaps I jumped the gun and should have waited longer for the 27cm one!
