Default Is this playpen suitable?

Pet Exercise Play Pen with Bottom DIY Enclosure Fence Cage Hamsters LPC02W 6955880303724 | eBay

I have read some reviews saying it is great for hamsters and other reviews that it is not. I was wondering if you all thought I should buy it. I cannot find any other playpens of a suitable size.

It looks secure, a good size and should work out fine providing the hamster likes a playpen.
Is it big enough for you to sit in it?

I have one like that, lots of people use similar.

I don't have a base like that on mine though, and Moonbeam spent a lot of time trying to get out of it

Yes it is. These are the measurements Product Size: 143 x 73 x 46 cm

I remember you saying some hamsters do not like playpens. I am unable to section off anywhere safely enough for one to roam so I hoped this would be okay.

Lol I can just imagine Moonbeam trying to climb out! I did not know you had a playpen. I thought you used a really useful box.

I use all sorts
Like you said I use a really useful storage box on wheels as a run (really helpful when I am feeling too ill to freeroam and if you have more than 1 hamster out at the same time, so they are not together), but where I used to live from Spring to Autumn I just used to free roam them in my conservatory. But when Twinkle was towards the end of his life he still liked to come out but the conservatory was wearing him out, so I bought those panel things and made him a small play area in front of his cage. Then Moonbeam inherited it, but it didn't go so well, I like that you can make different shapes and sizes out of them.

I have also used lots of cardboard in the past too.

Thank you for explaining this to me. I hope it is not too difficult to put together as I do not have space to leave it open.

They just clip together, i used to just take the 4 sides apart and slide under my sofa so I didn't have to unclip every panel.
