It used to be about £45 on Amazon. Everything has gone up just about! I assume material supplies? Workers off sick type thing?

It looks like Argos still does the 160l box on wheels for £35 if the info i just saw is still in date.
I still don't know how to create a link.

You just click on the web address bar so it highights it then select copy, then on this page you tap on the forum box and then select paste . Easier on a laptop than a phone I find. Would it be portable enough with wheels on? If taking it to another house.

I actually don't think there is much choice at all for £50 for anything approx 80 x 50. £60 maybe. And for perspex tanks probably the Duna multy and an 8" wheel. I had some angst about using an 8" wheel even for a week in a holiday cage so managed to find a low height 11" wheel that fitted in my holiday cage. I am sure 8" would be fine for a week though. 9" is better but then they'd have to buy an expensive wheel like the silent runner. Although actually a 12" flying saucer would probably be fine for a week.

An 8in wheel wouldn't work because i have one in the playground for the dwarfs. The Syrians try to have a go but Jack whose a bit of a porker can't run in it.

I have a Duna Multy as a spare for a dwarf but it is too low for a Syrian's wheel and the 12in saucer would take up most of the space. I have one of those in the playground as well and the Syrians run on it but more so on the upright wheels.

A couple of weeks isn't long for us but it's a fairly long time for a hamster.

I would have thought a bin cage with wheels would be easier to transport and the Argos one has a pull along handle.

I don't think there's a big enough, new cage available for £50 and a bin cage is the way to go. It could be bought and meshed for just under £50.

Thank you for the link info.

the savic orbital wheel worked for me in the zoozone, it's quite close to the ground unlike other 11-12 inch wheels.

I was thinking of something to fit in the standard duna multy It's only 31.5cm tall. I know a 9" silent runner fits but not sure if a 10" wheel would fit.
