If you want mushrooms you can get wooden ones at petsathome. I painted the cap with plastikote.

You can also get ceramic mushroom hides for a tenner. I think the company is called Wundapets but i'll look it up.

Where do you put the mushrooms - if that's not a silly question? They look like they would fall over!

They are pretty useless really. I glued one on a corner shelf before to discourage a hamster from jumping off. Not that a mushroom stopped Clarissa.

In the tank i shove one down the substrate at the front and tonight i spotted a small space in Scottie's new set up so jammed one in there.
