Post hamster spins and falls from wheel?

Hi, i got my robo hamster a new 20cm wheel and he likes the wheel, but my hamster runs in the wheel and many times as he slows down he keeps spining in the wheel and then falls off from it.
is this normal or not?

It happened to my first Robo so i put his wheel in his sand area to make sure he had a soft landing.

I use enclosed wheels now like the 20cm Trixie wheel so they don't fall out.

Does your Robo have an open or an enclosed wheel?

this also happened to both of my robos for the first month or so that I had them but now it rarely happens, I guess they needed practice lol. I don't know how long you've had this wheel for but if it's still new, you can try giving it a few more weeks before deciding if you should get a new wheel
