Carefresh hamster confetti
Hi, my hamster has always loved the Carefresh confetti bedding but I cannot seem to find it available in any shops or online at the moment. Does anyone know why it is currently unavailable in the UK? Also if anyone has any suggestions of a similar alternative product I'd really appreciate your help. My 2 year old hamster has never used a different bedding and I don't think he'll be pleased at needing to change

Re: Carefresh hamster confetti
Hello and welcome
Does it specifically have to be coloured? My p@h have bags still. Small pet select is similar but in white and natural.

I've heard there's been a bit of a shortage, and read up that it's technically not a shortage, but the demand is so high, it's out of stock the moment it hits the shelves.
Have you tried Fitch or Kaytee Clean and Cozy? My boy is on a mix of all of it as well as Aspen.

I don't know the small pet select and have been using white substrate because i can't find natural. Looks like a winter scene. Where can i get natural small pet select?
Our hamsters don't care about the colour of their substrate which helps. The white Kaytee is great for sleeping and burrowing areas though.

Re: Carefresh hamster confetti
Small pet select seems the go to for most owners on IG...softer and less dusty than carefresh,,and a bit more affordable although the large 178l are sold out at present in the natural last time I looked.
Im personally using megazorb mixed with some cardboard as base atm to try first but the small pet select holds burrows well.
It is available on amazon or their website directly
