Default Greyboard for DIY Safe?

Hi everyone, I'm new here but I hope this is the right place to post this!

I'm thinking of making some DIY platforms etc for my hamsters cage using Greyboard but I wasn't sure if its safe?

I am specifically trying to slot it in around the outside of the bars so I can pile the bedding higher without it falling out. I read that cardboard is safe for hamster but its too thick to fit in the space but greyboard seems to fit. I'm just worried greyboard isn't safe? Has anyone used it before?

The greyboard I am looking at is just the ones sold on amazon:
Amazon.co.uk : Grey Board
