Default Spider in Bin Cage

There’s a spider inside of my robo dwarf’s cage! I've heard that they can eat them, and it's fairly small compared to him, but I'm unable to spot it again. What should I do? I moved him to his playpen as a safety measure, but he’ll eventually need to sleep.

Default Re: Spider in Bin Cage

Do you live in a country that has poisonous spiders?
Is that why you're worried?

If it could be a poisonous spider then you'll have to empty the bin cage and check everything before putting it all back in.

If you live in a country where spiders are harmless then i wouldn't worry because hamsters would encounter spiders in the wilds. Spiders run away anyway and it has probably legged it out of the cage by now.

You can always double check and ruffle up the substrate here and there, lift a few things up........unless you are the one who is scared of spiders?
