Has anyone ever had any issues with auboise bedding such as any bits getting into hams eyes etc.

No issues to date, I have been using it for over a year and I really like it. It is however not good on its own for burrowing, it'll only collapse in. You'll need soft hay or paperbased bedding for layering and stabilizing.

How do you make it stable enough for burrows? (:
Always looking for more ways and inspiration.

Re: Auboise bedding
I've not heard of any incidences where people have mentioned it getting in a hamsters eyes so I can't imagine that it's any worse than any other substance that you might use in a hamster's cage.
I tried Aubiose about 18 months ago and I really liked it as a substrate but unfortunately, I was very allergic to it.

You could try mixing it with another bedding, i find 2-3 different types tends to work best. But it's not bad on it's own.

Sure, I do, with soft hay and sometimes paper. Works good.
