Default Bin cage disaster!

I wanted to make a second but slightly smaller bin cage to add on to my 709 square inch bin cage. Reason being I wanted it to be the house of the wheel and the sand bath but I've had a bit of a disaster trying to make a circle for the drainpipe to fit in and it's just cracked. and came apart.

It's not all the side of the bin, but it's definitely big enough for my hamster to easily get through without squeezing at all with the pipe in place as well.

Is there anyway to save this?

The box is worth at least £20 and I wish not to replace it since the other boxes I have are poorer quality.

I have plastic left over from the top where I've already successfully added the wire mesh, is there a way I could use that to patch the big hole up from the cracked off plastic?

Where do you find large bins? I've not been able to find any!

I found a 134 litre box with 709 square space from Homebase!

Since this picture the cage is even with all chewable wooden items (such as a new cottage hidey house and tipi) and a water bowl (taken out the water bottle to be able to make it even burrowing)
