Hi! I ordered two large branches for my syrian hamster Bertha's cage which arrived today. The cholla piece is perfect, but the grapevine piece still has a lot of bark on it and I wanted to make sure that's safe before putting it in her cage. I've managed to pick off a good deal of it (it was quite satisfying, honestly!) but it would be a pain to pry it all off.
If it's not safe, I can give the piece to my brother, who has a crested gecko in need of more climbing opportunities, so it won't be a huge loss if I can't use it. I feel like it's
probably safe, but I always like to seek others opinions if I'm not sure when it comes to my hamsters
