Robo in savic plaza
Ok curious. Could a adult robo squeeze through the bars of a savic plaza? (9mm). I know some keep their robos in a Alaska which has the same bar spacing and the bars are more flexible on that.
(I know the height is an issue but we'll ignore that)

I don't think so. I don't think the bar spacing in cages is the problem as long as they're less than a cm but the doors are.The gaps from door to cage sometimes give, especially in the Alaska.

Tbh the plaza is pretty rigid and the gap between cage and door is quite small and doesn't really move.
What cage/size bin do you keep your dwarf hams in?

Re: Robo in savic plaza
I have been told that my cage (cricetti 15) is a risk for my robo not because pf the bar spacing but because the bars are flexible and therefore he might try to squeeze through and get stuck... sounds highly unlikely but I’ve bought a 2nd hand zoozone 2 off Facebook marketplace because I can’t stand the idea

Re: Robo in savic plaza
It’s probably ok (with a full level). I have always used the narrow bars for a Robo . There is no way a Robo could try abd squeeze through 7mm bars - that is mouse bar spacing. But if a Robo was inclined to squeeze through 1cm or 9mm then they would get part way snd get stuck. So it comes down to whether a Robo would be inclined to try it. If they are then 1cm is too big for robos. 9mm similar. My plaza bars are more bendy than my Savic ones.
The Barney or Alexander would be better for a Robo as they have 7mm bar spacing. It comes down to personal judgement though. People have kept robos in 1cm bar spaced cages and not had an issue. I’m just a bit belt and braces and prefer the narrow bar spacing to be sure.
The Barney and Alexander have the odd 1cm gap above the small doors and 8mm at edges but cable ties can sort that.

That's fair enough. I wouldn't put a robo in a plaza unless the sides were replaced with perspex or something. I was just spot cleaning Ghost and I just wondered.

Yeh my robo was in the ZZ2. Meshed the lid and all was well. Little Niko loved his mansion I'm sure yours will too
