Question Ventilation!

I was wondering if I could have any feedback about my new hamsters cage placement ! I have a dwarf hamster male named mr.weenie. I just wanted to ensure he would get enough ventilation but I’m not sure if he will in the new spot he’s in. Please let me know what you think , refer to the picture attached! (He’s on my dresser in the closet with no doors or anything of course)[QUOTE][IMG]https://share.icloud.com/photos/0BzaiUKsVLgq2cRL7345j7SrQ#El_Paso

The placement of the cage is fine. He's in an aquarium so there is no airflow from the sides, and even if there were, the walls aren't blocked enough for it to matter. As long as the lid isn't solid acrylic and is some sort of wire or metal mesh he should be fine from what I can tell. I have limited experience with hamsters, but I've kept a few in tanks like that with similar ventilation, and as far as I'm aware they never had any respiratory issues and they could breathe fine.
