Default Best non-dusty substrate

There have been many posts about the best substrate over the years but I thought I would do a quick census to get a feel of current thinking. One of my hams succumbed to a respiratory issue and I suspect that the substrate was a factor. It was Carefresh which I have used in the past without any problems but was beginning to think it was quite dusty. So, my question to all is: what is your favourite non-dusty substrate?

I've only ever used Carefresh & Fresh 4 Life aspen shavings. Once, I had a SUPER dusty bag of Carefresh, like there was tons of dust in a corner of the bag, and me, back then, as I was a horrifying hamster owner, I used it anyways! I've never had problems with Carefresh besides then. The aspen I really like, it's never been dusty, and not as sharp as what I've gathered other people's aspen is.

I use Kaytee clean and cozy mainly but haven't been able to get the one i like, the natural lately so use the white inside the houses, nesting and burrowing areas. I use woodchips under the wheel because it keeps it in place and Carefresh as a top layer because it's firmer than Kaytee so toys don't sink so easily.

If i would have to chose one substrate as my favourite it would be Kaytee clean and cozy natural.

This is Fitch by the way. Recycled food grade paper - no dust whatsoever. No smells.

Fitch First - Fitch Paper 10kg Single Bale Bedding For Smaller Critters - Pet Bedding in Bulk - Pet Store

In the cage. It looks a bit white but hamsters love it.

Thanks all. I think I'll start with a 1kg bag of Fitch.
