How can I make my syrian girl feel safe outside the cage? She is very stressed when she goes in the sofa for exmpl.

Maybe you could put some of the toys from inside her cage on the sofa with her? Just so that she has some stuff with her scent already on it.

Re: Safe outside the cage
Make sure she has somewhere to hide and scatter a few seeds for her to find. I'd keep out of cage sessions short to begin with until she's more confident.

Re: Safe outside the cage
If she is stressed, maybe start her off in a small cardboard box with lots of things to hide in.
If she is still stressed I would stop getting her out the cage for a bit.

She do came to the door now and want to sit in my hand, but if I take her away from the cage, she gets a little stressed.

How old is she, how long have you had her, what cage is she in. Sorry I can't keep track of which hamsters you have now.
