Default How Important are Tubes/Tunnels?

I live in the US, and have been shopping (mostly on Amazon, I'm not totally sure where else to buy online from and am trying to avoid Petco/Petsmart) for a decent sized cage for the Syrian I'm hoping to adopt in the next month or so. I found a Prevue cage that looks like it fits the minimum suggested (it's 32.5x19x17.5 inches), and a waaaaaay more expensive "Savic Hamster Plaza Hamster Cage" (39.37x19.69x19.69 inches). Anyway, neither of these look like they have openings for their brand of tubes/tunnels for the hamster, while most of the smaller, dinkier cages seem like they lean into the tunnel thing way more.

I'm wondering how important to a hamster's happiness/wellbeing having access to tunnels would be, and if either of these cages seem appropriate.
