Re: New cage, which one?
I just checked on amazon & it’s £104 on there don’t know if it’s cheaper or more expensive elsewhere, I think the price tends to go up & down with offers.
for a dwarf the hamster heaven (used without the tubes & penthouse) or the Mickey xl both work well, they’re basically the same cage with slightly different bar spacing & the Mickey doesn’t have the tubes etc.
I think if you want a good size cage the Savic plaza is probably the best bet, th ealaska can be ok but a bit on the small side for some, the barney & alexander work well for a lot of people but you do have to sacrifice on door size.

Re: New cage, which one?
I think the alaska cage is some crap :P I have asked pet stores about the micket cage, but they wont sell it because of the bars at the bottom in the cage.
The savic hamster heaven was to small for our 2nd dwarf, so I might think it would be to small.
I might think the cage is cheaper in UK because of taxes and stuff, when it comes to Norway. On other sites, it have cost from 195,95 BP.

Re: New cage, which one?
I am not sure which currency we’re converting - I tried to convert 153.23 krone to£ and it came up as £18! Which sounds far too low. In the Uk the Savic plaza costs £75.
It’s a good cage for a Syrian. I posted on your other thread about the dwarf hamster. If he/she is a bar chewer but you prefer front opening, the only thing I can think of is the 90cm x 45cm x 30 Cm exo Terra terrarium - which has big front opening doors. Great option but v expensive/ unless you can find one second hand.

Re: New cage, which one?
Second hand terrarium is very hard to find. I have one who I bought second hand, but for now our oldest dwarf lives in it. The dwarf in the duna cage, is tame. But do front opening vs top opening have anything with behaviour to do?
18 is very low. In norwegian krone, the price is 1795.

Re: New cage, which one?
Amazon in Germany sell them but I don’t know if they ship to Norway. You would need to put it in the basket and go partway through checkout to see. There are 2 or 3 sizes of labyrinth house that look similar. Small one is for dwarf hamsters and the bigger one that looks the same is for Syrians.
