Yes - I had that thought too. Even if we attached the two layers together at various points, it would still be all too easy to get a paw stuck.

Ria P - no, we don't have a B&Q here, and are not planning a trip to the mainland until much later in the year. I looked at the B&Q site online yesterday, but didn't see anything. Perhaps I skimmed through a bit too quickly. Screwfix do some that's the right size - but we have to buy 10 sheets!
