Re: Megazorb and Aubiose
Yes it can be dusty. I will amend the first post. You also get the odd black particles in it too which the manufacturer say is a by product of the drying process. It seems to be harmless and drops to the bottom of the cage we find.
I haven't found anything in the softer bed range that isn't dusty to some extent to be honest. Even the teabag offcut stuff has some tea dust in it!!

Re: Megazorb and Aubiose
Thanks everyone! The dust settled down after the first night and wasn't so bad afterwards. I think it was the mixture of having just opened a fresh bag of it and filling up the tank that got me so worked up that night.
Thanks for the Finacard link - I think I might try that next!

Re: Megazorb and Aubiose
If Snowy is peeing in her house a lot it may be an idea to change the type of house she has to an igloo type with an open bottom so it is easy to just scoop out from underneath. In actual fact with this type they tend to get up and wee in the corner.

Re: Megazorb and Aubiose
It is better just to let them move it really or even just give a pile of bedding in a corner. Some hams like an open nest. Try it out with a cardboard box with the bottom cut out and holes in the roof or a log bridge and see if she sleeps under it.
