This is perfect! I'm going to take Ria's idea of attaching the platforms to the frame and your idea of stilts and platforms and use that to create my platforms. We can use the leftover frames as stilts and use the left over wood as platforms and drill them to the frame. It will be named the Lenry platform (Luna and Henry combined) - lol! Perfect name for a platform. We should patent this and sell it worldwide! lol!

Haha! I wasn't even thinking of attaching to the frame but it will work well providing the frame is strong enough. I was actually thinking of attaching to the wooden base at substrate level to support heavy things so they won't topple over if Ragna tunnels underneath or to create a "Rennbahn" run.
I had to support Gordon's glass sandbath and ceramic toadstool at substrate level in case he tunnels underneath.

I just looked at amazing, natural hamster set ups on Pininterest. Little self contained worlds....

The frame and lid are done and I’m busy measuring and cutting the mesh for the windows. The downside of living in the desert is not being able to work consistently outside which drives me mad because all I want to do is get this done.

Hoping to have the mesh on and done this evening then we wait for the bedding to arrive..yay!
