Wheel
I’ve had my new syrian for about a week and i have started taming, he is almost fully comfortable with taking a treat from my hand and doesn’t mind my hands in his cage he does seem to pee on his wheel a lot so it is very dirty and smelling up the cage. I want to take it out to clean it but his nest is right behind it and i really don’t want to stress him out. Should I just clean the wheel or wait a little longer.

Re: Wheel
I would probably just clean it. You need to find a balance between keeping things hygienic and trying to avoid stress but after a week he should have settled in relatively well. If you think it'll help you can always try putting coaxing him in a carrier while you do it.

Re: Wheel
I'd just leave it where it is but give it a wipe round with a damp cloth That won't be a perfect job but it'll do a bit longer.
