Stuck on which room my Hamster should go in!
Hi guys!
I bought my lovely Russian Dwarf hamster yesterday who is named Speedy who I love very much. He’s the first one I’ve had since I was about 8, and I currently have him positioned on the unused dining room table in the dining room which is next to the living room and kitchen. Although this might be a suitable place to keep him, I’m worried about the high frequencies which the TV and running water may cause through the walls/doors as I’m trying my best not to stress him out. I’d keep him in my room but unfortunately I have the window open a lot and don’t want him to be too cold/go into hibernation. Is there anyone who has had the same struggles as me and might be able to give some advice?
Thanks so much!

They do get used to background noise so as long as it isn't really loud or anything there shouldn't be a problem keeping him on the table. Would he be right next to the TV or something. If it's just in the same area or room I wouldn't worry. It sounds a bit better than a constant draft, they're better away from that kind of thing really.

That's good, okay thank you! No he would be in a separate room from the TV so I'm glad that'd be okay, thank you!

It sounds fine As long as the cage can't get knocked and slide around the table. I actually have a large hemp mat under our robo's cage to make sure it doesn't slide if anyone happened to catch it when walking past.
