Safe sand
I have heard rumour that the Tiny Friends Farm sand is no longer suitable to keep in cages for use as potty sand.
What sand can be used for this purpose?
I live in UK

Re: Safe sand
I use Childrens play sand from Argos! Super soft, dust free, and much better value thsn pet sand.

Re: Safe sand
The sand isn't as nice as it was but it is still safe, it seems there may be a difference in the US sand making it unsafe but the UK sand is still fine to use.
If you'd rather not use it then play sand (dried in the oven) is fine, I switched to the Rodipet sand which is really good.

Re: Safe sand
I also use the Argos children's play sand which I bake for half an hour in a hot over and cool and pour in to a large jug so it is easy to fill up potties when required!
