I think its easier really to open a lid, then to have tiny doors, its hard to get your hamster, and i dont think i will bother making him one, i wanted some russian dwarfs so ill see And i dont mind if its not really pretty looking, as long as its best for the hamsters i dont care what it looks like really..

Thats my excuse now that i bought a huge bin cage that is too big I even have a hagen zoozone aswell! Its my mum thats the problem, my dads given up now, i'm just too determined when i decide what i want.

Oh, but I do agree that they aren't the most attractive things, or easy to see into! Thats one of the reasons why I got Sausage a hamster heaven instead and don't use the storage box any more. In terms of giving your hamster lots of space they are great but I don't really think you need to make one as your cage looks fine
i compleatly forgot about the clear bins i guess theses ones are ok i just dont like the ones your cant really see into i like to keep an eye on my hamster make sure shes not getting herself into more trouble hehe

I'm going Pets at Home today to get toys for the animals, hopefully mom will let me get a dwarf (although not today) and i can make a bin for one!
