Yes i have a bar chewer aswell! But shes improved dramatically since i made a big effort to make sure she always has something to entertain her. So heres some methods that worked for me:
1. New foods- i tryed fruit, porridge oats, bread and cheese.obv introduce them in lil pieces so they don't get tummy upset.
2. Cage rearrange - i changed her toys round, but not her bed, food, water and food store. Almost everyday!
3. New toys- i bought fiddle sticks, crinkle tunnel, hay nest and a coconut.
4.more chew toys - whole pieces of kichen roll, a whole loo roll, a stick thats been washed(try smearing something tasty like peanut butter to get there interest)
5. lots of run around time - exercise ball, bath tub, make a planpen, floortime in a safe room.
