Where do you have you hamster cages?
Are they in the main part of the house - sitting room, tv etc etc or are they in a bedroom or sideroom?

I keep mine in the living room although with 3 of them & all their stuff it's become more of a hamster room

Mine stand in the living room. I don't have television so the room was available.

Hamper resides in my bedroom, his cage being mounted on the shelf at the head of the bed.

Re: Where do you have you hamster cages?
Always been in the living room although currently Syrian is in another downstairs room and Robo in the living room. I'd like them both in the living room when get sorted because you can miss interaction with them when they're out of sight and hearing
Last Syrian's cage was on the floor - in a bay window so well away from footfall or being tripped over or kicked and well below the window. Current cages stand on top of something. Pros and cons to both!

Re: Where do you have you hamster cages?
Mine are currently living in the hamster room. Six Chinese live on a shelving unit in there, the two diabetics live on top of a bookcase and my robo lives on the desk.
I use a corner of the dining room for quarantine/temporary residents.

Re: Where do you have you hamster cages?
Our hamsters live in a spare bedroom which is set up as a hamster room. They are taken out of the room for playtime into other bedrooms or the lounge / study or to run in the corridor we have made safe. Quarantined hamsters either coming in are in another bedroom for a month. Holiday hamsters are also kept in another unused bedroom and not in with the Custard Hamsters.

Re: Where do you have you hamster cages?
My robo and syrian are both in my bedroom. the robo sits on my bedside table because he gets lonely, and the syrian is on the floor near the closet (opposite side of the room).
