Bedding Question
Good morning (well, at least in the US - good afternoon to all of you lovely UK folks). We have been using Carefresh paper bedding for our Teddy's substrate. Should we also be giving him some toilet paper or tissue to use for his bed? Thanks so much!

Re: Bedding Question
Yes it's a good idea - sheets of plain white toilet paper torn into strips are good - put a heap of that somewhere in the cage - they like to forage for it, pouch it and take it to the nest. The sometimes use a bit of the Carefresh as well

Re: Bedding Question
As seredipity said, yes! Toilet tissue makes an excellent nesting material for them. My hams love to collect shredded bits of toilet paper, and make huge nests out of them
