As I live in the United States, I took a look at the Pets at Home website and saw multiple wood shavings. So I’m not sure which one you mean, but the ones I did look at were softwood shavings. But, I didn’t look at all of them so some may be Aspen which in safe for hamsters. Pine and Cedar are unsafe for hamster because of the chemicals they have been treated with an they can cause upper respiratory system infection. Any softwood shavings are unsafe. If you are unsure I would just stay clear of them.
As for snowflake woodshaving I’m not sure.
