Default hamster housing!

hiya,

right lol could someone please help me!!!
my hammie pebbles she has a bed area that she has to climb up some tubing to get to, she doesn't use it she just drags all her nice clean bedding down onto the cage floor and sleeps like that.
do you think it would be better if i get her a bed maybe that sits on the floor so she might use it?

also the bedding i use is awfull, its this soft stuff that u pul apart and place in the bed but it sticks to all the sawdust could anyone tell me wich bedding would be best to use (preferably from pets at home as its near me)?

and also (sorry for all the questions) could anyone tell me where to buy these tubes from well squares that you click together in the pick below taken from google images.

thanks amii and pebbles xx

The boxes can be found on UKpet supplies website - Small Animals at UKPetSupplies.com

You'll have to search the site.

The fluffy bedding is not good for them, it gets wrapped round limbs and body or ingested and could kill them I use a mixture of paper bedding from P@H and tesco value toilet roll, leave it on the cage floor and he drags it off into his bed, which is just an empty box that had the cat food in it. It's been cut so I can lift the lid to get him out if need be (he's lazy!)

Experiment and see what he prefers!

I can't find the playhouse brick things on there now, but try zooplus or equinecaninefeline websites!
