Zoozone 2 lid catches
Hi.
I just bought a Zoozone 2 cage for my robo, Nano. The door catches seem a little flimsy and don't seem to 'catch' particularly well - does anyone else have this issue?
I currently have a Ferplast Duna Multy which has very good catches - I would have bought the Maxi but the Zoozone was much cheaper!
Thank you!

Re: Zoozone 2 lid catches
I have heard this before about the Zoozone 2 - maybe someone else will know if there's a fix for it. Yes the maxi duna costs a lot more and it seems a lot extra for a good door catch! Assume you've meshed the lid or a robo could escape! Could you kind of bend the catch a bit or use a peg?

Re: Zoozone 2 lid catches
@Serendipity7000
I haven't meshed it yet as I wasn't sure whether to return it or not - I have a cat so it needs to be secure! I have the mesh ready to go.
I don't think the catches will bend as they're plastic; I'll check out the if a peg would work - thanks.

Re: Zoozone 2 lid catches
If it's going to be a real pain then returning it might be a good option. Difficult to weigh up maybe. Such a shame the maxi duna is so expensive. No meshing needed and a better catch.

Re: Zoozone 2 lid catches
I had and issue with the catches so I meshed lid then pegged each side with a small bull dog clip so it made it sturdy!

Re: Zoozone 2 lid catches
Thanks everyone!
I've decided to return it as I really don't feel comfortable with the lid situation - will save a bit more moolah and go for the Ferplast Maxi Duna instead.
