Suitable toys for Syrians, and where to get them?
So, I haven't been that big on the hamster toy front...
Sprout has a red boot thing with holes in, and a car, whereas Skittles has hardly anything, so I think I should buy some hamster toys
Anyone know any good ones for my little Syrians?

My hammy seems to enjoy a whole walnut more than any toy. You should try that

Thanks for the advice guys
I let my old hamster play in kitchen roll tubes and he really enjoyed it - is that ok for them?

Toilet roll tubes and old cereal boxes make great toys!
If you want longer lasting toys then these are some of my hammy's favourites:
And they love their sand pits/toilets as well

Re: Suitable toys for Syrians, and where to get them?
Robert has a plastic castle thing with stairs but he seems to love cardboard boxes and toilet tissue tubes. I was going to buy him a suspension bridge for hanging off his bars and some of those multi piece playground blocks that you can change the configuration off. And some wooden chews as he seems to love them. Do you think that's enough? I've built him some cool stuff with empty boxes and tubes but was wondering if I can use pva glue to stick them together or is that dangerous for him?
Thanks,
Kelly

I'll second cardboard tubes and old cereal boxes.

PVA - It certainly doesn't produce toxic fumes and it's harmless to the touch but I have heard it's toxic to ingest. (How true that is I don't know)
I think if there is any doubt you should get a glue/sealant that is approved for use in an animal closure. I've never had an issue with Aquarium Silicone Sealant.

Rambo my syrian LOVES pompoms, we've tied one on a piece of string and he will chase it round for ages, He only seems to like lilac ones though, im not sure why, but its a very cheap toy to make! only costs about 10p
